Field note

The wetland field station begins its second seasonal cycle

Twelve repairable sensing nodes returned to the northern wetland edge after a winter of redesign and bench calibration.

The second seasonal cycle of our wetland study began this month. Twelve sensing nodes are now recording acoustic activity, water level, and local temperature along two edge conditions.

This deployment reflects a winter of practical revisions: connectors can now be serviced without opening the main enclosure, power state is visible from outside, and every intervention receives a physical and digital log entry.

We will publish a field protocol and the revised enclosure drawings after the first maintenance interval.
